A New Hope?
It’s been a long and strange 2010 for me as far as my ongoing job search goes. I’ve made some progress–not quite enough, but some–and I’ve experienced more than the usual range of emotions. I’ve felt everything from excitement to disappointment and, though I hope the end is near, I am redoubling my efforts in an attempt to make something happen this month.
My recent op-ed article, published in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, has helped. It’s drummed up some activity on the job search front, and I’ve gathered some more. I’m really hoping to buckle down these next two weeks before school systems start gearing up and setting my mind to finding a position.
I have also been thinking and I believe it would be easy for me to create some sample audio files. You may have heard of these files referred to as podcasts. These files would serve as examples of multimedia study materials I would make available to my students regularly. I will have more on this in the next few days, I hope.
