I Changed the Blog

I made a slight adjustment today to the topics this site will cover.  I think I was making my topics a little to narrow, and it was causing me difficulty in deciding what to write and in posting my writings in a timely manner. So as referenced by the tagline at the top of the page, I’m now going to try focusing on three different things.

• Education:  Like always, I’ll continue to discuss topics and concepts I consider important to education.  As a teacher I feel on some level as if I must do this to let people know what’s going on in education.
• Technology:  One of my personal passions, and something I enjoy very much, is reading up on, playing with, and learning about technology.  Whether for work, for home, or for both, I always have plenty to say about technology in today’s society.  I have been “repressing” my thoughts on technology when they do not also mesh with education, but I’ve decided to speak my mind and give my opinion on this topic, even when there’s no immediate connection to education.
• Educational Technology:  Exactly what it sounds like.  Technology that can be used in education specifically.  This is the focus of my current job and I enjoy researching, discussing, and sharing technological resources that can move our students and teachers even further forward.
